BEREA COLLEGE CRAFT:
Sustaining Traditions and Spirit of the Hand-Made

Is it possible that a place could embody such a strong historical and spiritual presence that it successfully guides subsequent generations and populations?  Could the Berea we know today have been in the making for thousands of years--both socially and commercially?  Read about the ancient Hopewell civilization from 100 B.C. to 400 A.C. in Arts Across Kentucky's Winter 2012 issue's cover story.
